After reading this article you will know why the following fragrance is my favorites. I will not bore you with the ingredients or with the tones and notes as I find this not useful when reading about fragrances. Instead, I will focus on what kind of emotions it invokes, the experience and the reactions I get when wearing this fragrance. This is based on my personal experience and it’s truly my personal taste. You may think otherwise and if you do, let me know which fragrance you like!
I would like to share with you my all time favorite Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male! I was always a fan of the original Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, it was my favorite for a long time in my younger years. I still enjoy it to this day. When Ultra Male was released in 2015, I was excited to try it out. Ultra male was advertised as an intense masculine and seductively playful fragrance and it was a long time favorite for many men.
When I first got my bottle, I was a bit worried as it smelled almost as a female version of Le Male with its bubbly and fruity sent. However, once it settled, it quickly became my favorite! As advertised, it more of a playful fragrance while maintaining the masculinity. This fits well with me and my attitude. When you wear this perfume you will get comments, compliments and will leave an enticing memorable first impression on women. I can’t tell you how many times I got compliments from women when wear it.
It’s an ideal fragrance to wear if you’re going out and I feel its more of a night time fragrance. I enjoy it so much that I wear it occasionally during daytime casual events. With it’s youthful vibes, it’s enjoyed by men and women often time captivated by it. This fragrance is unorthodox and older generation may not enjoy the fruity notes.
Close competitors are Chanel Bleu and Dior Sauvage, both of those fragrances have different notes than Ultra Male but are all excellent fragrances. I actually own Dior Sauvage and will be reviewing it soon.
If you’re looking for masculine yet modern fragrance and a compliment getter, I highly recommend Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male! My personal score for this fragrance is 10/10
